Build a makeup routine with Amazon Premium Beauty

Amazon Premium Beauty has grown significantly in the past few years. Its brand and product ranges are slowly catching on to the more established premium beauty retailer such as Sephora and Blue Mercury. With the prime shipping and credit benefits, often times I find myself leaning towards Amazon for beauty purchases.
Here’s a recommendation on the best products from Premium Beauty to build a everyday makeup routine.
French pharmacy staple; wears beautifully under makeup. A make-up artist favorite.
If you want a no-fuss, naturally radiant finish with medium coverage AND sunscreen, you can’t go wrong here. While I will always suggest using a separate sunscreen, some days I get lazy too… I’ve gone through many tubes of this.
It’s expensive. I get it. But it really is the best when it comes to spot concealer. A little goes a very long way, if that’s any consolation.
Hourglass makes some of the best powder products on the market. They are subtle but effective. It gives you that airbrushed look without any harshness. It also seems impossible to use up any of the powders. I’m still chipping away at my palette from 10 years ago…

I have to admit the selection of lipsticks in Amazon Premium Beauty is rather lacking. I don’t see many of my long term favorites such as Dior Lip Glow, Bobbi Brown crushed lip color etc. But Shiseido is a very high-quality brand. Disrobe is a gorgeous nude rose color. The shade of the bullet is perfect for precise application. You can see the product in action here.
Precise felt tip, blackest black, stays in place, easy to remove. What else do we need from a liquid eyeliner?
If it’s good enough for Lisa Eldridge, it’s good enough for me. I saw her use this product in this video and instantly fell in love. And multitasker always appeals to me. One pro tip from many makeup artists is that you don’t need to use products exactly as they are prescribed. Bronzers can be eyeshadows, blush can be lip colors etc. My favorite shade is Peony.
With so many good options in the drugstore, it’s a little difficult to justify paying the premium for a mascara. However Lancôme just does lashes perfectly right. This and Monsieur Big are both staples in my makeup bag.
This is the only product that keeps my stubborn brows up. You only need the smallest amount.
